About Us

Hi!

My name is Christie and I am the author, new momma, soon to be wife.  I am new to blogging and it has taken me forever to really get started.  I have a Masters degree in Social Work and prior to staying home with my little guy, worked two and a half years in Child Protective Services (wow, right?).  Do I want to go back to work? Ya, maybe.  I wish I could find a job where I could take Noah with me. That would be perfect.  I love being a social worker, but I love being a mommy too.

This is Noah. He is 8 months and an absolute joy. He has the biggest personality and that includes knowing what he wants and trying everything possible to get it. He was born on September 28, 2010 (2 days early!) and is our first child.  We love having him and are enjoying watching everything he does.  

And that is Rich, daddy, future husband.  He works at a cable company about an hour away from where we live (boo!).  He loves to play video games and watch sports.  He is a great daddy and Noah LOVES to play with him.

How about some random facts about me/us?

-We are going to be married on August 6, 2011.  I hate planning weddings and have waiting until the last minute for just about everything.

-Rich and I bought our first house when I was a young 21 years old.  We do not live there anymore because we needed to move to a better neighborhood/city for Noah.  

-We have one dog named Bailey. She stays mostly outside and has two friends (my parents dogs) Sadie and Snickers.

-I love to shop, but I have had to cut way back since I am not working. 

-Noah is the best thing to happen to us!
